Congrats to Graham Batten! Graham's entry for cover number 11 was voted on by fans at SlayAlive.com and chosen to be the winner cover by IDW. Graham's winning concept is:
"The game of strategy and war (CHESS) is my concept for this cover and all the characters are displayed as pieces on the board. There are 3 pieces left stood up, angel the King in white and around him knocked over on the board in white are Cordy the queen, Doyle the bishop and maybe Groo or Fred or who else has died as a rook or a knight. Close to Angel is Gunn the black king and next to him is Wesley the pawn in black. There is a hand of a senior partner poised over a chessboard about to move Wesley, but in what direction? Which piece will topple next??? As Kate paraphrases “In the greater scheme, or the bigger picture, nothing we do matters”."
This concept has been drawn by IDW artist, Stephen Mooney to be used as the cover art for AATF No. 11.
Issue no. 11: "Angel. Gunn. Reunited. Hint: It doesn't go well." The official continuation of the Angel TV series!
